The new Woodrow Wilson School replaces an existing school that was undersized and out of date. The new school has 24 classrooms, a cafeteria, and a large gymnasium. The school is also used for community functions.
The new building is constructed of structural steel and open web steel joists for economy and speed of construction. Custom made, long span steel trusses span over the tall cafeteria and gymnasium spaces.
